About the Women's Congressional Staff Association

WCSA Mission

The Women’s Congressional Staff Association (WCSA) is an official U.S. House of Representatives-recognized, bipartisan staff organization run by and for women Congressional staffers. WCSA serves to foster professional and personal development and strengthen support systems for women staffers regardless of party affiliation, background, job title, or experience. This is accomplished through thoughtful programming, network building, volunteerism, mentorship, and other opportunities that engender a sense of community for women on Capitol Hill.

WCSA Membership

WCSA is run by and for women Congressional staffers. There are currently more than 2,000 women in the WCSA network, ranging from interns to Chiefs of Staff.  Join WCSA ~ Get More Involved

WCSA Events

Past events have included receptions and round tables with Members of Congress, briefings from high profile women who served in the White House, interviewing tips with women Chiefs of Staff, resume workshops with experts and hiring managers, skill-building workshops, an annual mentorship program, happy hours, and community service events.
