Panel Discussion: “Mid-Career Motivation and What to Do if You Lose It” Wednesday, February 18, 2015 6:30pm Rayburn 2168 (Gold Room) About this event: We are bringing together experienced Washington, DC professional from on and off the Hill to discuss new research suggesting that women are more likely than men to start their careers with the desire to rise to upper management positions, but are also much more likely than men to lose that ambition within the first five years of their careers. We will explore the challenges that mid-career women face and how they can overcome these obstacles to reach leadership positions. The Panel will last about an hour with a brief reception to follow. This event is open to WCSA Members and Friends of WCSA. Please contact Kelsey Moran (kelsey.moran@mail.house.gov) or Jennifer Shapiro (jennifer.shapiro@mail.house.gov) if you have any questions.
