  • Join senior staff from the House Homeland Security Committee’s Majority and Minority staff for an off-the-record networking event. Hear from Krista Harvey, Staff Director of the Transportation and Protective Security Subcommittee, Mandy Bowers, Staff Director of the Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee, and Nicole Tisdale, Counsel and Counterterrorism & Intelligence Subcommittee Staff Director. They will talk climbing the ladder on Capitol Hill, as well as what it takes to be successful as a prominent woman in national security—conducting rigorous oversight, drafting key legislation, and working as the right hand of members on the House Homeland Security Committee.

    The “Power Breakfast” is a casual networking event that gives a group of Women’s Congressional Staff Association (WCSA) Members the opportunity to meet and learn from senior Congressional staff. The breakfasts features both Republican and Democrat staffers who share career advice, best practices, and engage in an open conversation with the women in attendance.
