The Women’s Congressional Staff Association is proud to announce a new series entitled “Dinner & Dialogue,” a forum for accomplished women in D.C. to share their experience, best practices, and engage in an open conversation with Congressional staffers. The dinner will bring together one mentor with 9 members of WCSA, with each attendee paying a registration fee of $5 and the cost of their own dinner. Registration for the first dinner will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please note this event is for Members Only.
*BIO: Ms. Kountoupes served as Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs for President Clinton. In this capacity she served as the President’s liaison to the House of Representatives and acted as a primary contact for Members of the House with the White House. Ms. Kountoupes spent three years as Assistant Director for Legislative Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). When she entered the Executive Branch in May 1994, she served as a Special Assistant in the Secretary’s office at the U.S. Department of Energy. Prior to her tenure in the Clinton Administration, Ms. Kountoupes served as a member of the staff of Chairman John D. Dingell of the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee. Ms. Kountoupes graduated with honors and distinction from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
