The Women’s Congressional Staff Association continues our “Dinner & Dialogue” series, a forum for accomplished speakers to share their experience, best practices, and engaging in an open conversation with Congressional staffers. The dinner will bring together one mentor with 9 members of WCSA, with each attendee paying a registration fee of $5 and the cost of their own dinner. Registration for the first dinner will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please note this event is for Members Only.

This month our series features a male perspective, Andy Blocker, a long time Washingtonian who currently serves as the Secretary and Treasurer for Women Policy Inc.

*BIO: Andy is a veteran Washington advocate with almost 20 years of experience in Congress, the White House, and private sector. Most recently, Andy was Vice President of Government Relations at the New York Stock Exchange (now NYSE Euronext). During his tenure in the public sector, he worked as a legislative assistant to Congressman Martin Frost (D-TX), and budget analyst for the Senate Budget Committee. He also worked for the Clinton White House, where as Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs, he provided policy-making and strategic advice to the President, and contributed to the passage of the 1997 Bipartisan Balanced Budget Agreement. Andy holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
