Join WCSA to celebrate Women's History month at a briefing with Ambassador Melanne Verveer, U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues and Kathleen Johnson, writer and researcher for the House Clerk's Office of History and Preservation and co-author of Women in Congress.  This briefing will provide an opportunity to explore the role of women in Congress and in governments around the world, as well as what our role is to promote women in government at home and abroad.  Ambassador Verveer will also briefly discuss careers in the Foreign Service, and a State Department recruiter will be on hand to answer questions before and after the briefing.  Light reception provided.
