Come volunteer with the Outreach and Community Service Committee at American University’s annual Take Back the Night event on Monday, April 9^th at 7pm. Take Back the Night seeks to raise awareness about sexual violence in all forms. Started in the 1970s, Take Back the Night events include marches, rallies, educational programs, vigils, and concerts designed to give women a safe space to speak about their experiences with sexual violence and inspire responsibility in all citizens to make our communities safer.
