Emma is passionate about women's leadership and women's policy issues and is thrilled to be WCSA’s professional development co-chair once again this year! Emma worked as an LC and LA for Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz covering a host of policy issues. She is now a senior LA with Congresswoman Houlahan covering gender issues, judiciary issues, and many other important.

She graduated from Tufts with a B.A. in International Relations and a concentration in Women and Security Studies.

She loves being a part of the Hill’s dynamic community and WCSA’s stellar board!

Medora Jones is a Legislative Correspondent for the Office of Chairman John Yarmuth (KY-3). She has experience both on the campaign trail as a former call time manager for Representative Max Rose and in the education policy space from her internships with the U.S. Department of Education and the Learning Policy Institute.

She is a proud graduate of the We Lead program at American University and passionate about closing the gender gap in politics. Medora grew up in Frankfort, Kentucky and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French from Bard College.

When she’s not working, Medora enjoys playing soccer, watching prestige tv like 90 Day Fiancé, and spending time with her cat, Merlin.
